Anyway, the game is called "6 little things that make me happy", so here you go!
#1. Off Leash Dog Beaches. Definitely, most probably, my favoritest thing to do is running and playing in the surf at dog beach here in Sandy eggo.
#2. Stealin other doggies toyz when they aint lookin. I'm gettin real good at it! (check out how stealth I am to do it while the other doggies are arguing with each other)
#4. Lately, one of my favoritest things that makes me happy is my cool coat. I know...it sounds silly to put a coat on when its 100 degrees outside, but you should try it before you say much more!
Its been super duper hot here in Sandy eggo. Hot and humid, which is not normal for this area, which also means we dont have a special machine that conditions the air. I'm not sure how it works, but I've felt that air (the one that's been conditioned) when we walk by stores. It feels nice and cool and I always wish we could go inside.
Instead, Mom got me this jacket. She says its made of some sort of super duper special fabricky stuff that allows the air to cool me more efficiently on hot days. It can be used dry or wet, I personally like it when its wet cuz then it feels really good.
#5. My super camouflaged rope toy. Its my uber favorite, since its camo...just like me! ( I bet you can hardly see it against my handsome camo coat!)
Unfortunately, I liked this toy SO much that it fell apart. Ok, I admit it...I chewed it apart. Again, couldnt help myself!
#6. Lastly, dis is something that I just learned about, but it sure makes me happy!
Mom usually gives me the mad face and for some reason I keep havin to do "time-outs" when she sees me doin this to other doggies. She says its rude behavior and not somethin I should be doin. I really cant help myself. I just get excited and then my body seems to have a mind of its own! Mom says not to worry though...end of the month she says I have an appointment with the bestest Great Dane Betterinarian in Sandy eggo.
She said I am going to get tutored...hmmm, that doesnt sound right. Scootered? no...that's not right either. Computered? noooo, dont think that's it either...
can't wait to see the things that make you happy! Once you've listed out your happy-things, make sure to tag 6 of YOUR friends to pass on the fun!
So flattered that you tagged me! Thank you! I am working on it now for my next post! You're Murphy is adorable.

Hey thanks for tagging me in the game! My dog-sister Storm said she had a lot of fun doing it. I'll get it done as soon as possible. Unfortunately because I have hooves I can't operate a camera or computer so I have to wait for my human to get done job hunting so she can help me.

dear Murphy dawg,
ReplyDeleteI do love your "6 little things that make me happy". I especially love that coat. It has just become spring here in Australia and I was five months old when I would get into the bath tub to keep myself cool. I won't be doing that this summer because I find it really hard to get in with my wobblers. So maybe I will get a coat like that one instead!
I do love how clever you are at stealing toys and how brave you are about running through real waves!
smooches,
Mr Darcy
Hi Murphy!! Thanks for tagging me, you are a handsome pup!! Not sure i've been called diva before, but I like it!! :op I'll post my answers on my blog soon.

Hey Murphy - that was an awesome post! Loved reading and learning all those things about you - and seeing the photos!! :-)
ReplyDeleteAnd that coat is just...well, "cool"!! :-)
I'm sorry to hear about your Operation - I had a similar one but for us girl doggies - but it's probably for the best as you'll be able to concentrate on the really important things in life after that (like toys & treats! Yay!). By the way, you know sometimes having an operation may not fix your new little habit because it is not always sexual - a lot of dogs do it out of excitement! So your human will still have to patiently work on consistently interrupting you when you start doing that and then rewarding you with praise (and/or treats) AS SOON AS YOU STOP - so you understand that doing that action is bad but stopping it is good. Then whenever you're around other doggies and if you're being calm and playing nicely, without doing THAT, your humans should also praise you for being good...so you understand exactly what it is they are unhappy about.
Time-outs can be difficult for us doggies to understand because we really only live in the moment and associate things that happen simultaneously (we're not like human pups) so by the time we have been put in a time out, we often don't realise what it was for! So my human doesn't believe in using time-outs that much - she feels it is better to interrupt the behaviour (with me, often a sharp "NO!" is enough) and then to praise as soon as I stop, so I understand that NOT doing the behaviour is the right thing. And then lots and lots of repetitions and consistency everytime (don't let me get away with it even once!) and we will soon learn.
Anyway, good luck!
Slobbers,
Honey the Great Dane
Hi Murphy! I love the not sitting on the couch... very funny. Running on the beach looks like fun even though I'm not too crazy about water. I think I'd like the weather in Sandy eggo though. Have you ever seen a squirrel on the beach?
