The sun is back!!
First thing this morning, I woke Mom up to tell her this. It was an important piece of news and I just couldn't believe she was sleeping thru it!
After her morning ritual of showering (sheesh...I'm sure glad I don't hafta take a bath every day!), we headed over to Fiesta Island. Mom said no beach cuz the water gets full of cooties after a big rainstorm, and no dog park cuz it would be too muddy, so Fiesta Island it was.
And guess what I did when we got there.
I ran
and ran
and ran
and ran
until I couldn't run no more.
so then I plopped down in this nice comfy spot and took a rest.
it was a good morning.

ReplyDeleteheehee...I guess "cooties" is an American expression. Usually its used when you are little to express that something has germs. I think when you are 5 years old, most boys (or kids of the opposite sex) have cooties.

In this case, I was referring to all the bacteria in the ocean water. Bacteria levels are always high after a storm, because of run-off. Its recommended that people not go in the water, and I think that should apply to dogs too.
Here in America we even have a kids game called "cootie". http://www.boardgames.com/cootie.html, no doubt some grown ups image of what a cootie would look like.
