Please 'scuze our messy bloggie. Mom was tryin to get all fancy and change templates...and now some stuffies are missing.

She's workin on fixin it, but I am demandin a trip to dog park before obedience class begins. So da bloggie will have to wait.

I Heart Darwin!

My good doggie blogger girlfriend Darwin got some good news at the Betterinarian yesterday. Her human's were worried that she had Wobbler's, so they had an MRI done yesterday to get a diagnosis. Today her human posted the results, it doesn't look like its Wobblers and things are looking very good for her!

Unfortunately, during the procedure they had to shave a few patches of fur off. Luckily, the vet tech was very skilled and her patches are nice and straight and symmetrical. Darwin decided to take this opportunity to show her love for yours truly. Permanent and Forever, I love it!!

I know once her beautiful fur grows back, the tattoo will be hidden....but now, thanks to this world wide internet bloggie thingy, the entire world will know!

The loss of a gentle giant

We lost a friend last night.

Titan, who once held the title of "World's Tallest Dog" has gone onto the Rainbow Bridge.

As often is the case with a white Great Dane, he was born with a miriad of health problems.

He was blind, deaf and was diagnosed with epilepsy. Most recently, he started having more serious problems with his back. The doctors feared it was the dreaded Wobblers, but after a series of diagnostic tests a definative diagnosis could not be reached.

On Tuesday, March 30th...his loving human gave him the greatest gift she could. She selflessly took away all his pain and suffering and helped him travel to the Rainbow Bridge. He will never be forgotten.

RIP Titan.

Betterinarian

My fursister had to go to the Betterinarian today. She's had a stuffy, sneezy nose since she came to live with us, and although she's already been to the Betterinarian twice for the same thing, it just aint gettin better.

Being the lil diva princess that she is, she has her own bright pink travel pod that she rides in. It keeps her safe and out of Mom's way when they are in the car.

 

Once at the Betterinarian's though, she gets to come out and explore while waiting for the doctor. There's LOTS of stuff to get into!

 

While she's not acting sick, she sneezes like crazy and over the last few days has started to cough. The doctor at first said since it dint look like a bacterial infection she'd like to try and treat it with homeopathic remedies instead of antibiotics. Antibiotics are super duper overused, and not always necessary. Plus, they can be hard on a lil kitten's tummy!

But after a week of taking Allium Cepa and Congaplex, lil Fergie still wasn't getting any better. Her poor lil nose sounds super stuffed up! Luckily, she's still eatin, and drinkin and playin, so she isn't feeling bad at all. Mom was still worried though, especially since she's started coughin now. So...off to the betterinarian she went!

She got weighed and has gained almost a full pound since Mom brought her to live with us! That's a lot for a little kitten!

 

She also got her temperature taken..but Mom dint take a picture of that. Some things should just remain private!

After she was done with her exam, she got to play a little more. Mom says she's a very outgoing and brave kitten...really not scared of much!

Well, since she hasn't gotten better in over a week, the nice doctor decided she prolly should go on antibiotics just to kick this cold in the butt. That, along with some chinese herbal tablets and some lysine will hopefully get her over this hurdle. I sure am tired of havin kitty snot on me from when she sneezes!!

I love it! I kept tellin Mom to get rid of dat dumb baby picture of me...I'm a big boy now! And should have a big boy picture as my header! Well, now I do, and boy is it grand! Thanks again!
