Mom went somewhere without me. And it wasn't work.
Grrrr.
She left me at home in my pen, and went to the San Diego Botanic Gardens. She said "no dogs allowed".
What kinda balony is that??
Anyway...she wanted to share some of da pictures she took while she was there.
You will probably be bored because none of them include lil old me, but please...just humor her.
Oh...and then, check this out! Mom doesn't know who this dane is, but isn't that one lucky dog!! Gettin to ride in a convertible with the top down and everything!
I'm tellin you. Mom is just mean.
She said, even if she had a convertible, I wouldn't be able to ride in it like this. Something about it bein too dangerous...especially on the freeway.
WHATEVER!! Just think about how the wind would be flappin thru my ears!
That's TOTALLY worth the risk!

Ugh. Der's no reasoning with her.
Oh, but I wanted to share one more thing. Silly Fergie & her balancing act...interruptin my dinner!

Those are great pictures. San Diego looks like a beautiful place; we still have snow here in Chicago. The convertible looks fun, but I have to agree with your Mom on the safety issue. Both of our dogs wear seatbelts....there are a lot of crazy drivers out there.
ReplyDeleteUgh, no video!
ReplyDeleteNo Murphy either! What's up with that? What's going on? Who was that stranger in the back of the convertible? I want my furiend back. BOL
Kidding but not about the video
Twinkie
The ears flappin in the wind, the sun on your face... I'm jealous too. It doesn't make sense to own a convertible in Maine - so I'll never get that either Murphy. I feel your pain.
ReplyDeletewoof - Tucker
that's too bad you couldn't go with your mama to the gardens. "no dogs allowed." whatevs!
ReplyDeleteyour mama did take some very pretty pictures, though.
i like how fergie gave you a a bunch of really quick left jabs to the schnoz. heehee.
Wow what gorgeous photos! Murphy - I wouldn't let Duchess ride in the convertible either... count me in with the no-fun crowd.
ReplyDeleteI met a 9 month old humongous harlequin great dane puppy at my park a few days ago! He was a very naughty and persistent puppy and I had to take control of the situation. By the end, he was obeying a measly little 20lb beast! The humans laughed and laughed.
ReplyDeleteI think those botanic garden plants could use a little 'watering' from a certain large canine...
Oh my God - that was the cutest, cutest video! :-) But Murphy - how come you were in a big puppy pen??
ReplyDeleteSan Diego looks really beautiful - my humans would love to visit some day - they heard that there is a very famous zoo there!
Slobbers,
Honey the Great Dane
